The person behind Amaigo

Hi, I'm Frank

I built Amaigo, and Whistle, its privacy-first AI intake widget. Here's who I am and why I care about getting this right.

Frank Thompson, founder of Amaigo

I'm Frank Thompson, born and raised in Northern Ireland. I'm a software engineer by training and, by day, I work in cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance. Somewhere between those two worlds, building things and keeping data safe, is exactly where Amaigo sits.

I've also done a fair bit of the unglamorous stuff: reception and front-of-house, sales, working the CRM, technology consulting. I've been the person taking the enquiries, and I've built the tools meant to help. That mix is what got me here.

Why I take security seriously

Protecting data is what I do for a living, so I couldn't build a tool that treated it as an afterthought. With Whistle, the AI handles the conversation, but your clients' personal details are captured through secure structured fields, kept in the EU, and never handed to a third-party AI for training. Privacy and security aren't features I bolted on at the end. They were the starting point, and my background is there to back that up.

Why intake

Because it's genuinely broken. Good enquiries arrive at the wrong time, sit in a voicemail, or get lost between the website and someone following up. I wanted to help good businesses win more of the right clients, without ever playing fast and loose with people's data.

Get in touch

I'd genuinely love to hear from you, whether you want a demo, have a question, or just want to talk through your intake. The quickest way to see it is to let Whistle book you in.
